I highly recommend Everlasting Smile services! As someone who had the same dentist since she was 2 years old finding a trust worthy one was not something easy for me. I'm so glad I found this clinic 7 years ago as this is the place where I go for all my dental work. And I just had my first dentist appointment since COVID and as a germ-phobe, I can say the experience was fantastic! In all my years in NYC I've never left any where feeling so clean and cared for. The attention to every last bit of detail --from sanitizing the air, my phone, the room, not seeing even one patient--and he even has a device that makes sure there is no aerosol or air drops coming from your mouth. I was referred to Dr. Reingold, by my mother, a Southern Beauty Queen, with the highest of standards who simply put 'indicated: Dr. Reingold's office has the best bedside manor' of any dental or medical practice she had ever known. When I first went to Everlasting Smile, was when I had a tooth fall out of my head in a business meeting, and decided to seek a second dental opinion. In my first visit to Dr Reingold's office, he told me that I actually needed 3 root canals (having never had one before, this was a shock), and now flash forward 10 years later, and I have come ot the end of what has been a rigorous, but fruitful curriculum with Dr. Reingold and his team. I've never gone to any doctor, let alone dentist, who I actually felt saw me as a complete person. When he asks "How are you?" and you say "Fine" but aren't really fine, he notices, and takes time to actually talk to you and find out what's up. Dr. Reingold is amazing. I had a broken tooth where i had a previous root canal done and he fixed it completely, no pain at all. I am so thankful. Now the tooth looks like it never broke or had any work done on it, like brand new! He also recommended me an occlusal guard for my bruxism at night. I wasn't aware that I was hurting my gums so much until I started wearing the guard every night. One day I forgot to wear it to sleep and the next day I felt all the pain in my gums from the clenching. I was so used to the pain until I started wearing the guard. Now I use the guard every night. I've been going to Dr. Reingold since 1997, when I lived in NYC. I moved to Connecticut in 2003 and continue to go in twice a year to see him - he's worth the trip. He has a great way with patients and he makes sure that he and his staff are very gentle with all their procedures. If you have a question, he is able to explain what he's doing and why in language that anyone can understand (no doctor speak here!) Since I'm coming in to see him from Connecticut, his support staff are super helpful in working with me to find a time that works with my tight schedule and call me if a better appointment opens up. Really great all around - can't say enough! I highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of an experienced, talented, caring dentist. More
