About Implant Dentures
We offer implant-supported dentures at Everlasting Smile for our patients who want the best in full-mouth restorations. If you are getting denture for the first time or if you are so tired of dealing with high-maintenance, removable dentures, implant supported dentures may be the best solution our general and cosmetic dentist, Dr. Andrew Reingold, can provide. Our implant-supported dentures are carefully crafted for a comfortable fit and natural appearance, along with careful gum preparations (now the "gold standard" in dental restorations).
Implant-supported dentures are more secure in their placement than removable dentures as 4 – 6 implant are surgically anchored (via titanium posts) into your upper and/or lower arch. Once the implants have healed and integrated into the jawbone, Dr. Reingold will attach a high-quality custom denture made by our preferred denture laboratory for a long-lasting solution. If you would like to learn more, please contact our office for more information.

"I've been a patient of Dr. Reingold for over 10 years and have been incredibly happy the whole time. He take a minimalist, don't do it unless you need it, approach. Recently I went through invisalign treatment and he made it as easy as possible, setting expectations as always. I needed some slight restorative work afterward and that turned out amazing as well. Can't recommend his practice enough!"- J. / Google / Nov 14, 2020
"Dr. Reingold is a dentist you can TRUST. I have recommended him to 5+ friends (great dentists in NYC are so hard to find): he is caring, extremely detail-oriented, crazy smart, explains everything clearly and I'm so happy with the results of my Invisalign journey with him and the team (the entire staff is SO welcoming) Definitely check them out!"- R.C. / Google / Aug 25, 2020

"I highly recommend Everlasting Smile services! As someone who had the same dentist since she was 2 years old finding a trust worthy one was not something easy for me. I'm so glad I found this clinic 7 years ago as this is the place where I go for all my dental work. The staff has done an amazing job at keeping everyone feeling safe and comfortable during these challenging times. My personal favorite is the sterilized bins in where you can put all your belongings and not have to worry about them touching the floor. Don't put off your routine dental work for later, the clinic has gone above an beyond to ensure all patients and staff are safe."- A.C. / Google / Aug 22, 2020
What to Expect
To ensure the implant-supported dentures fit securely and naturally, the dentist will use digital X-rays, CT scans, and/or physical impressions of your mouth that will be sent to the implantology lab. Wit the patient under general or local anesthesia, the dentist will surgically implant the anchors in the upper and/or lower jawbone. You will be given temporary dentures to wear as your permanent dentures are being made and your implants integrate into the bone. Once the implants are secure, the dentist will attach the permanent dentures to the implants and adjust for a comfortable fit.
Once the permanent dentures are in place, the patient will have check-ups over the next few weeks and months to perfect the fit of the dentures. Implant dentures should be cared for with daily brushing, flossing, and rinsing with mouthwash, just like natural teeth. You should continue to schedule professional cleanings and dental exams as recommended by your dentist. With proper care, implant dentures can last 5 – 10 years.
Depending on your dental insurance carrier and specific policy, some of the cost of the implant dentures may be covered. Our office will work with your insurance company to determine your coverage and maximize your benefits before determining your costs. Our office accepts several payment options and we offer financing plans to make your dental care affordable.
